We are getting in touch to inform you of important price changes across the Top Level Domains (TLDs) we sell.
The many different TLDs we provide are all supported by various different backend registries such as Verisign, Identity Digital and CentralNIC. ICANN has permitted Verisign to raise the price of .com domains every year for the past five years.
These backend registries frequently adjust their prices, often at different intervals throughout the year. While these changes occur regularly, we aim to adjust our domain prices just once a year to make it easier for you. This is also the 1st time in all the years we have been selling .UK domains that the prices for these have increased.
You can review the new pricing across all impacted TLDs inside your Geek Web Hosting Control panel, but the most frequently purchased domains have increased from £7.00 to £8.00 for .uk domains, and from £13.50 to £15.00 .com domains.
The new pricing will come into effect from 14th September 2024.
